Through groundbreaking innovations and the focus on technologically advanced and intelligent textiles, a revolutionary structural change has taken place in the textile industry over the last three decades. During this time, textiles have developed into a fascinating material and the TITV Greiz has established itself as a leading research institution. The institute presents itself with new and future-oriented research fields that make a significant contribution to opening up innovative high-tech areas for companies.
For the specialist audience
In exciting short presentations and an inspiring poster exhibition, our project managers will share the results of recently completed work with you. During the lunch break, tours of our latest facilities and developments will take place and our project managers will be available for personal discussions throughout the day.
Another item on the program will be a panel to exchange ideas about the importance and current work in the textile world. Under the title “Innovation meets tradition – constant change in the textile world”, we give newcomers to the market and experienced personalities a stage to explore the changing landscape of the textile industry together. We delve into the roots of textiles, discuss the art of entrepreneurship and the balance between risk and reward. Questions such as how to deal with crisis situations and the role of institutes as bridge builders are addressed. By exchanging experiences, we can learn from each other in many ways and forge new bonds.
